The other Outlander
A great Sci Fi adventure with an intelligent alien creature bent on revenge, located in the Viking lands of the a thousand years ago. Ron Perlman plays a Viking lord that the creat ure has left bereft. A great saga of the fighting men and women of our past.

Not bad at all --- Definitely worth a look
I was a little skeptical before I decided to watch Outlander. It wasn't really that widely known only being released in 81 theaters nationwide and was made with a somewhat low budget...but it did have pretty good reviews on IMDB & Amazon and also starred Jim Caviezel, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I ended up being quite impressed. The whole idea of combining Vikings, a space traveler, and a big, fast alien monster seemed a little ridiculous at first but it was actually fairly well done. For the budget they had to make the film the special effects were great...the alien monster was definitely unique and looked and sounded pretty real. I won't get into any other details about the film because you can find out more about it elsewhere (IMDB), you'll just have to check it out and judge for ... If you're a fan of the Sci-Fi genre and/or you're a fan of Jim Caviezel (The Count of Monte Cristo) you shouldn't miss Outlander, it most likely won't disappoint. I'd rate it a solid 6-7/10. It does have its cheesy moments, but also a lot of pretty intense scenes which makes you greatly overlook the small flaws. It's also better than a lot of the movies that get a wide release in theaters, which is saying quite a bit.

Outstanding Movie!
Outstanding movie! The story was great and all the characters were so interesting. It could have limited some of the blood letting but besides that it was a fantastic movie. It kept me on the edge of my seat all through it!
