    Adventure and a slight romance on the frozen seas

    A wonderful continuation of the Aubrey-Maturin series, with an expanded role for Dr. Maturin. You may never forget the unique trip to the very remote Desolation Island or the horrific description of the loss of a Dutch three decker.

    Desolation Island

    Another Patrick O'brian swashbuckler. Captain Jack Aury and his trusty ships surgen Stephen Maturin, Sail to australia abord the old, but refitted HMS Leopard. A ship with a cargo of prisoners,and a beutiful woman spy. On there way they face the plague, storms and a dutch 72 gun man of war, dead sit to send them all to the bottom. Good reading, I recomend it highly.
