Can never tell with these hard drives!
This is a quality product, but that could all change tomor if it crashes. Truth is, you never know when it comes to these hard drives. I installed it, set it up, all is well!

Great item, outstanding value
I purchased this to replace the original drive that came with my Toshiba Satellite notebook because I'd managed to murder it. This one is twice the size of the original. I love having the ability to save many movies on my hard drive so that I can take them with me without having to drag a huge case of DVDs around. It performs well, the speed is quite satisfactory, and I'm very happy with it. The only improvement would be if someone would make larger capacity internal hard drives for notebooks with the OEM depth of 9.5mm instead of the 12mm most of the 1TB and all of the larger capacity ( 1TB) drives are.I purchased this to replace the original drive that came with my Toshiba Satellite notebook because I'd managed to murder it. AWESOME! FAST, QUIET, SO MUCH EXTRA STORAGE FOR MY PS3, ECONOMICAL
AWESOME HARD DRIVE!! I installed this in my PS3 due to 120g hard drive being filled quickly. This drive took all my old files and is still ready for more. I even reinstalled demo games, music, video and photo files I had to delete before buying this drive just so I could play games. This drive is SUPER quiet. My old PS3 drive was SO noisy when it was running. I cant even hear the drive most of the time unless you mute the tv and are very quiet. My friends were always bragging about how they had so much more hard drive space then me...320g and 500g compared to my (formerly) pathetic 120g. Well they are now jealous of me. 1 Terrabyte BITCHES!!! LOL. get this drive and upgrade your current hard drive to the next level. Fantastic value HDD for portable enclosures! Fast and quiet!
I purchased this product as my WD My Book was on it's last leg and I could tell it was about to die and wanted to try a smaller form factor than the traditional 3.5" external drives. Coupled with a Oyen Digital Mini Pro, this little beast is quicker than the old My Book I had (both running at 5400 RPM). This drive is getting me a throughput of ~75MB/s connected through Firewire- Thunderbolt adapter for my rMBP and is almost 25MB/s faster than my old WD My Book! WD 2.5" 1TB Scorpios are the way to go for intenal/external storage
After purchasing 2 WD Velociraptor (600GB & 1TB), I was comfortable purchasing this drive. So far so good. Mainly I use it for storage purposes. It's rock solid, fast and responsive, and it's miniature compared to its 3.5" counterpart's form factor which makes it even more mobile. In combination with my enclosure, I have no worries about it crashing.
