Great romance film for anyone wanting a new twist.
I purchased this movie because i had read the book by James Patterson- one of the best books i had ever read!- and wanted to see how the movie portrayed it. It was dead on, and the movie made me cry just as much as the book. It was the perfect purchase to my collection. I would suggest this movie to any woman looking for a good family love story. I won't give away the ending, but throughout the whole film and novel (which i also highly recomend) there are mysteries going on that leads to a huge twist at the end! Wonderful.. In every possible way!
I read the book first, which I completely recommend.. it was a wonderful story. Watching the movie after I read the book was the smart thing to do.. I was able to put faces to names.. and understand the characters more. I loved the story line all together. James Patterson is a wonderful author. I highly recommend any of his books. This book, along with "Sundays at Tiffanys".. and "Sam's Letters for Jennifer", are among my favorites. I am highly impressed on how they touch my heart and grab my attention quickly. You can relate to the characters.. yet, there is always a huge twist in the story line. All together, I highly recommend this movie - in fact, I highly recommend anything by this author!I read the book first, which I completely recommend.. it was a wonderful story. Great Couples Movie
I had read the book many years ago and could never find the DVD until now. Do not be thrown off by the fact that Christina Applegate is the lead actress. My Fiance and I have learned to appreciate each other a lot more after this heart wrenching story. I will definitely watch it again even though I know the ending and recommend it to ALL couples everywhere.
