I ... “This offering is for an antique circa 1880's small carved stick leg horse with a soldier rider. I think this horse and rider are related to the putz type figures from Germany but I've never seen one before. The figure measures app. 4.5" in height to the top of the soldier hat and it retains it's original paint in very nice condition. The paint is missing in part from one of the soldiers feet and the horses legs as seen in our photo's. Otherwise the overall condition is excellent with overall scattered wear and small paint losses but no cracks, breaks or repairs.”
