A writing both compelling and heart-breaking

This book is really good. It is a very sad story and relatively depressing but certainly worth a try. It gives you a part of the story that was untold. Being in my early 20's I had never heard of Sid & Nancy and had no idea who the Sex Pistols were so I didn't have an preconceived notions going into it. The author isn't a great author, because she is not writer. However, it is very easy to follow and well written.This book is really good. It is a very sad story and relatively depressing but certainly worth a try. It gives you a part of the story that was untold. Love this book! This is about a mother and family that tried to do everything they could to live with a psychotic daughter they loved very much. It doesn't matter if you care about Sid Vicious(sex pistols). This is just an amazing account of a family(and daughter) in pain. Highly recommended!
