  • Clothing from the Sears Catalogs, early 1930s

I participate in a Living History program in which I am required to wear 1930s attire. I purchased this book, along with books from the same publisher for mid- and late-1930s, and have found them all valuable. They contain clothing for women, men, teens and children and include everything from evening attire to career clothing, sleepwear, hats, shoes and lingerie. Each book is 160 pages in length. My only wish is that they were twice as long, with twice as many examples! I recommend them for anyone who is trying to develop an accurate vintage wardrobe for the 1930s.
