English summary: This edition documents for the first time the literary contribution Johannes Bugenhagen made in preparing the birth of the Reformation. His reformatory teachings as well as excerpts from his lectures had a tremendous influence on Protestant piety. With this edition of his Latin, early New High German and Low German texts Anneliese Bieber-Wallmann documents his literary contribution to the rise of the Reformation. The earliest sources reveal how much Johannes Bugenhagen was initially influenced by humanism. While in Pomerania he attempted to improve Latin instruction and reform views on piety to conform to Biblical aspects. From his time in Wittenberg from 1521 on we have many leaflets of his with simple depictions of the Reformation teachings as well as excerpts from exegetical lectures that had a profound effect on subsequent Protestant views of piety. German description: Johannes Bugenhagen (1485-1558) blieb der Nachwelt in Erinnerung als Luthers Seelsorger und als Verfasser von Kirchenordnungen fur den norddeutschen sowie den skandinavischen Raum. Weniger bekannt ist, dass er zu Lebzeiten ein vielgelesener Autor von Bibelkommentaren und Flugschriften zur reformatorischen Umgestaltung des kirchlichen Lebens war. Anneliese Bieber-Wallmann dokumentiert zum ersten Mal Bugenhagens literarischen Beitrag zur Verbreitung der Reformation in einer wissenschaftlichen Ausgabe. Die Quellen liegen in lateinischer, fruhneuhochdeutscher und niederdeutscher Sprache vor. Band 1 beginnt mit den fruhesten bekannten Texten aus der Zeit Bugenhagens in Pommern. Aus den Jahren 1521 bis 1524 werden in Band 1 die Schriften ediert, mit denen Bugenhagen seinen pommerschen Landsleuten die reformatorische Lehre nahezubringen versuchte. In der Art apostolischer Sendbriefe forderte er sie auf, sich dem neu gewonnenen Evangelium zu offnen. Der Druck der Sendbriefe machte den Wittenberger Pfarrer weit uber Pommern und Sachsen hinaus bekannt.Von der Predigt am Tage der Apostel Petrus und Paulus, einem der Sendbriefe und von der lateinischen Passions- und Auferstehungsharmonie sind Manuskripte erhalten geblieben, die der Ausgabe der reformatorischen Schriften Bugenhagens zugrunde gelegt werden. Bei den ubrigen Texten folgt die Edition den Erstdrucken und verwendet handschriftliches Material im textkritischen Apparat. Textkritische und kommentierende Apparate sowie Einleitungen zu den einzelnen Schriften sollen das Verstandnis der Texte erleichtern.
