Great travel printer, quality prints
Pro - Great printer for pleasure travel - take it on vacation to print postcards of your adventures and send to friends and family. Pro - Great printer for business travel - compact size takes up little space in yours bags. And forget about needing to find an electrical outlet, just make sure you charged the battery (which lasts for ~80 prints by the way). Pro - Quality, water-proof prints, and FAST! Con - Battery costs more than the printer. Printer is out-of-production by Canon (don't ask me why) and should run you $25-50. But, best price for battery (name-brand would be my only choice) is ~$65. Con - tends to be 'finicky' when using in high humidy - but eventually gets the job done. Con - paper cassettes don't 'seat' firmly. If you move or bump the unit during paper pickup, you ... Pro - Great printer for pleasure travel - take it on vacation to print postcards of your adventures and send to friends and family. Amazing photos
The picture quality is amazing. The dye sublimation process is superior to ink jet for photos. The prints emerge from the printer completely dry with a clear coating. The price per print is reasonable, though not quite as cheap as at the corner drug store. These are virtually 4"X6" prints (slightly less than 6") and are expected to remain bright and colorful for many years. Another plus is that the "ink" and paper come in sets. You can't run out of ink before you print all of the paper. I recommend this unit to all photo enthusiasts who are using Windows XP. Canon SELPHY™ CP730 Thermal Printer
The colors were nice and sharp. Before I printed my pictures on the printer I had for the computer. This is much more convenient. The price was great! I only wish I could print a bigger size but I am very happy with this printer.
