    Good item for the price

    I bought a refurbished unit but it is just like brand new as far as I can see. This unit is replacing a much more expensive Kenwood unit that was stolen from my truck. This one actually sounds better than the $1200.00 Kenwood. If you are trying to decide between the 800 and the 8000 models I would definately go with the 800 due to the fact you get the Ipod cable with it and you can completely turn off the internal amp if you aren't using it. Do plan on spending some time with your nose in the 80 page manual because the controls are definately not self explanatory but once you get the hang of it it is easy to use and the bluetooth feature is really neat. The biggest thing keeping this unit from getting my highest rating is the appearance and the big joystick knob in the middle of it. For ...

    Great Deck But Could Be Better

    I have used my Pioneer deck for about a month now and love it. It is hard to not love anything if you had stock prior, however I have used many decks and this one stands out above all the rest. I have a 2005 Ford F-150 so the stock deck took up a lot of room in the center dash. I wanted to buy something that was just as big, or almost as big so that it would fill the space left behind from the older deck so all the space evened out. This deck was just about the same size, in fact if it had been bigger, it may not have fit without cutting away at the existing console. The smooth gloss black of the Pioneer deck fits in perfect, in fact it enhances the overall look of the dash.     Blue tooth Stereo

    This is the second Pioneer Blue tooth radio that we have. The older unit has a better blue tooth system in it. These unit are true blue tooth ready no adapters needed ready to go blue tooth out of the box. The newer model has a hard time with several of the phones we have. But the older model connects fine to all of our phones. The set-up of the Pioneers is a little tricky but if you can follow them they give alot of flexibility in customizing the sysyem. The sound quality is good. The CD player is very stable (we live on a dirt road and this deck does not turn off the music from the bumpy roads). Do not like the fact that Pioneer no longer supplies a paper owners manual only a disk. Im sorry I don't have a computer in my car and having to go back and forth from my computer to the car and ...

    Great CD/MP3 Player

    I installed this in my 97 Accord. This was an upgrade from an older Kenwood. I wanted USB input so I could stop burning CD's, now I use a 16GB thumbdrive and love being able to change up the music. It's easy to navigate through folders. The double din really updated the interior styling in my 97 accord. The only things I don't like about this unit is the face seemed to scratch easily (I've only used soft cloths) and when the unit is in direct sunlight you can't read the display at all but if I had window tint I don't think this would be a problem. Both minor gripes; overall I'm very happy with this purchase.
