    Buy it if you can...

This is a fine bit of music by the Jerry Garcia Band in 1980. It is pretty difficult to find as it was a bonus disc on early copies of the “After Midnight: Kean College, 2/28/80” set. Is it worth owning and paying some money for? Absolutely. The quality is there and one will definitely enjoy the music. If you have the money to spend, I would recommend the purchase.

  • Vintage Jerry

Nothing better than a stripped down band to let each individual shine as in this quartet from 1980. While many tapes of this tour have been circulating, it is the ones with After Midnight Elanor Rigby After Midnight that were the most popular. While I had the Glens Falls show for that reason, I was aware of this show as well and either one could have been committed to retail IMHO. What I also love about this is Jerry's love of Blues and R&B , evident with stellar versions of "That's What Love will Make You Do", Hank Ballard's "Tore Up" and Motown's "How Sweet It Is" as well as Allen Toussaint's "I'll Take a Melody." While suffering the usual clams and mistakes of a truly Live recording, most Dead Heads will look past this minor flaw and enjoy the spontaneity and genius that was Jerry ...

  • Hot Garcia at an affordable price.

The price was good compared to some of tha prices. I consider those prices to be outright gouging. Garcia would roll in his grave if he knew how much people were charging for his music. I love this release, and I was glad to find a copy that wasn’t ridiculous in price. All in all, I am extremely satisfied.

Great show But sometimes aliitle boring but Jerry sometimes gets too laid back but not often. Show took place in my hometown. Forgot how good show was! A difinite for Jerry or Dead Head fans

  • Cheap for what it is

Really appreciative of the deal I got. Usually goes for a lot more than what this did. Discs are all in great condition.
