    Great Product Idea, Just Needs a Design Tweek

    This is a great idea for being able to feed my dogs outside. I gave it 5 stars as it is a good product. But, I agree with another reviewer, that the design isn't quite right yet. The top needs to open up from the front, and not from the back. My husband is going to take the lid off and change it around to make it easier for me to fill the hopper with the dog food, without having to try to hold up the lid at the same time.

    I like it dogs does not

    Would work fine if my dog would use it. My dog is 100 pounds and is afraid the door will grab his head. I propped the door open and he still did not want anything to do with it, even with table scraps in it. Tried for a week. Maybe if he gets hungry enough he'll use it. LOL

    This item has nothing of automatic

    The item it’s a metal food container with a door on the front, dogs can push door in to eat easily and door keep open all the time due to a magnet. Is nothing automatic. If you place the item on outdoors the moisture wet the dry food. On indoors nothing prevent insect to go inside. The price is high vs convenience and functionality. The packaging is poor and item can get damage on transit. I have place the item on the covered back patio area since I receive (16 days ago) and item start build rust on the inside top corners but I haven’t inspect al the inside.

    50 pund dog feeder

    The dog feeder is ok, I would guess that it needs to be out of the weather. There are 2 pre drilled holes on the back, to fasten to wall, so that dogs could not push it over. The problem is the top lid opens up to put feed in from back side. For me this was a real problem. I have a double decker dog house and the top level has a deck on it, about 50 inched high from the bottom deck. I could seen that it should probably not be out in open weather, so I mounted it on the bottom deck. You have very little space to put in the dog food. Plus the filler door will not stay open by it self. It looks like it would work better if the lid would lift up from the front side.

    Chow time any time for pooches

    Easy to use for both human to fill and dogger to use. This is my second Chow Hound, the other one stayed with my mother. I appreciate that it is made of study metal, not wobbly at all.
