A highly recommended title for those interested in the topic.
A well written and nicely illustrated volume covering road building from early history to modern times. With b/w and color photo's depicting the ever changing range of equipment used in road building through the ages. This is not a read it in one weekend type of book, nor is it a coffee table book. The text describes the many road building techniques and changes through the ages. This publisher does and excellent job with making this very technical subject very readable and their titles are worth collecting if you're interested in heavy equipment or a collector of diecast heavy equipment vehicles.A well written and nicely illustrated volume covering road building from early history to modern times.
