About this product

Product Information

Resident Evil 5 Limited Edition 120GB Red console has a special red case that goes around the whole console. A special matching wireless controller is also included in the bundle. The controller features a battery pack that can be used with standard AA batteries or rechargeable batteries. The gaming system itself features a 120GB hard drive. This is ideal for downloading game data like updates or DLC content. The extra space is also ideal for storing music and movie content. A number of Xbox 360 video games allow you to play your own music while gaming. The ample storage space on this Xbox version offers enough room to store thousands of songs. The Elite Xbox 360 package also comes with the Resident Evil 5 game. The third-person shooter takes players on a horror adventure to a fictional country in Africa. When a zombie outbreak has taken over, it's up to special agents Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar to stop the zombie hordes and figure out the mystery behind the outbreak. A number of weapons are available in this sequel to the earlier games. This includes handguns, grenades, and close-combat options. A special melee attack is another new feature in the title. Through this attack, players can damage an enemy and then use moves to render them useless. A special download token card also comes with the Xbox Resident Evil consoles. The card has two elements to it. The first is a special Resident Evil 5 Premium theme card. The code gives you access to backgrounds, avatars, and design elements exclusive to your Xbox device. The second part of the download card includes the Street Fighter II Turbo Remix video game. This is an updated classic of the original Capcom release. It features new graphics, new animations, and sound effects that take advantage of Xbox 360 capabilities. All types of classic Capcom characters are available in the digital download, including Vega, Ken, Ryu, and Guile.

  • Seeing Red (In A Good Way)

For Xbox 360 veterans, this review will not be of much help. After all, this is just an Xbox 360 Elite but a different color. However, I will attempt to give this review the depth it deserves. For starters, this Xbox 360 is red. That doesn't do anything to improve functionality, but it helps you gloat when the rest of your friends only have the plain, white versions. The color is strictly bragging rights. Next, the system itself. The Xbox 360 Red is a limited edition which includes the basic gaming equipment (red controller, headset, connector cables, etc.) but also comes with the survival-horror game Resident Evil 5. (It's more survival than horror, but that's splitting hairs.) This little gift makes it that much sweeter because you don't have to pay the $60 list price for the game. ...

  • Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite Resident Evil Limited Edition

I have 9 games installed on this thing, and about 4 hours of music so far, and I have 69 gb left... awesome! The red console is very cool, I still have not gotten used to seeing red. The system also came with RE5, which is a pretty cool game, alot of complaints about it not being a traditional RE game, and I have no clue why. The only difference at all is it is third person behind the shoulder. You still need two sticks to move around, aiming is still not the greatest, ammo is very limited, and even on normal mode, a typical zombie can take anywhere from 5-10 shots, unless you are lucky enough for the game to register one of your many head shots as an actual head shot causing the things head to explode, and then you hope it's a regular zombie, and not one of the many that once you blow ...

  • red vs. black?

I gotta say yes the red is truly for bragging rights. The elites (black) origionaly came out at the same price as the Resident evil limited edition(red) console currently goes for. I love the red look and if u dont like it... get a slip cover or a skin. Yeah this does sound odd but, it will be more then worth the trouble verses the black elites, white premium, or classic arcade. I work at a eBay Powerseller/liquidator. I see pallets of used/refurbished xboxs daily. what color shells do i see us tossing away today when they come back from the refurbisher? tons of white, lots of black, and one green (halo limited edition). simply put the cooling issue(red ring of death)was a major glitch in the 360 design and build. the resident evil sports the new jasper chip which doesn't elimiate the ...

  • Evil version hands down-loaded to the top with featurez.

Having a PS3 and loving it, I didnt really care about the XBox at all. After some time though I started looking into the different games that Xbox had available. I started to monitor EBay for a deal and found this Resident Evil version, bought it, and proceded to upload, preview and conquer all TV , movies, games, friends, facebook, etc.etc. One drawback is that it costs $8 a month for the Gold status you need to use the Live features. Worth it, better graphics than PS3 and faster download times, ive found

  • The Jasper

One of the newest boards to come out, the jasper doesn't disappoint! With the lite-on (99% of these new jaspers will come with a lite-on unless it was swapped), it runs pretty quiet compared to the previous versions of the xbox. Interestingly enough, it seems like the bug has finally caught up to Microsoft who thought that building this console with cheap parts and low ingenuity would save money. To those of you wanting an xbox 360 Bottom line, GET A JASPER. NOT A FALCON, NOT A Xenon, NOT A Zephyr ( = those arent in order as you can tell but you get the point). Until the Valhalla comes out, Id say that the jasper is what you should stick with for the time being.
