    The DeWALT 988 drill driver hammerdrill is a great tool. I’ve used it for 15 years, and it’s served me well. Too bad they don’t make it anymore

    As advertised.

    Drill works and battery holds a charge. But it appears the brushes may be going bad as it has a burning smell when in use without resistance or without it being under duress.

    Still Strong

    This drill seems to have been well used but still has plenty of power. I have not had opportunity to put it to any real test but am looking forward to getting a lot of use out of it. From other reviews I read about this model it is reliable and worth the money. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a tool that will do the job it is expected to.

    dewalt 18v cordless drill DC988

    The power is overwhelming. it is very comfortable to use. its not too heavy. the battery last much much longer than i expected. thank you dewalt.
