    This book should be taught in all "women writers" classes - great for fans of Jane Austen!

    One of the most evocative books about the female authors who were writing before Jane Austen. I study JA, and it was eye-opening for me, but I also sent it to another college professor friend (this hardbound edition was a gift) and I'm sure she'll find it just as riveting. It should be taught in all "women writer's" courses, as most people think Austen was the first female novel writer in English, which is obviously not true. Wish more people knew about this book!
