    Eco Drive perpetual calendar movements are the superior "feature" watch compared to "dumb" divers.

    This is a great example of the Citizen BL5295-55E perpetual calendar chronograph. Very little wear, clean crystal, in great shape. Watch fans really don't know what they are missing in the era of Citizen feature watches, as they are more than capable of a lot of things. This watch also includes a power saving mode which is fun to see - after a minute in the dark when it senses no light on the solar cell, it stops the second hand, moving only the minute and hour. After a few days, it ceases updating the display at all, with only the internal clock operating. When light hits the solar again - it updates! to the correct time, hands cycling. With this enabled, you can get another 90 days of reserve power - for a total of 270 if stored out of the light. Would that my "dumb" dive watches could ...
