    Great story for children. Excellent for time like today

    A book that connects with children. No dislikes. Recommended by someone. It is easy for a child to understand. Lightweight, can take with anywhere. A book that can be read in a few hours with a message.

    striped ice cream

    this book was my favorite book as a child.i love the way the family worked to gether in real hard times. a single mother and her 5 children living so poor and yet they loved each other and made it work.the main topic of the story was beckys birthday and all she wanted was striped ice cream.i am now in my 50s and still enjoy the book and want my grandchildren to enjoy it to.

    Chicken Spagghetti and Striped Ice Cream!

    Wonderful kids books that teaches not to assume anything. It teaches children to appreciate what they have, efforts made by others, family relationships. It is one of the earlier books on African American Families and one I am glad to let my child read.

    So thrilled to find this book it made my sisters day!

    I was so thrilled to find this book , it was my sisters favourite when she was young and I had fond memories of it too. It made the best present for her 50th birthday she was really touched.
