    A unique horror title

    One of the most underrated and unknown horror titles from the PS2-era. You're constantly on edge from the evil that lurks in the castle and you'll have to hide in closets, under beds etc. if there are dangers nearby. Another unique feature is the fact that there are no load times between areas and doors you open can be closed or left open by pursuers. Haunting Ground delivers a shocking horror experience that constantly puts tension on the players, even when there are no enemies around. The few enemies in the game have their own paths around the castle, and it's all about no being around them. THankfully you'll have a faithful dog companion that acts as your main source of attack, albeit being mediocre at best.     A worthy collectible

    Was a really compelling segway into the Survival Horror genre. The main protagonist felt a bit plain and unrelatable/unaffable at times but the gameplay is addictive and I was pleasantly surprised with how I found this old classic drawing me curiously into its storyline more & more. Hard mode + extras enhance replay value. A must try for the PS2 survival horror collector
