    A Great Replacement Snare Wire for Vintage Slingerland and Tama Snare Drums.

    Pearl's extended length snappy snare wires, model S-025 intended for Pearl's 80s - 90s era 'Free Floating' snare drums works well on Vintage Slingerland Buddy Rich 60s and 70s extended bridge snare mechanisms and for the Slinglerland TDR series of snare drums. May also be used as a suitable replacement for 80s era Tama SuperStar series snare drums also referred to as having extended bridge snare mechanisms.

    Can be made to fit drums with extended bridges

    I like these extended Pearl wires because with a bit of modification they can be made to fit some older snare drums (other than Pearl) that require extended snare wires, such as: Ludwig & WFL Buddy Rich Super Classic snare drums with extended snare bridges or vintage Premier Royal Ace snares, etc. I've successfully modified these Pearl wiresets to work on both of the aforementioned drums. Best of all they offer good snare tone & response, as with all Pearl snare wires.
