Poor design on plug
The unit is great when you can get it to turn on. I have bought one, exchanged it for a new one and it has the same problem. The power cord has to be wiggled sometimes just to get it to turn on. Lowrance has a much better plug. I am disappointed. Everything else works great once it's on.

it was a happy experience as its my first Fish finder, it was easy to update as well as install. i haven't have the opportunity to use it on the water to explore other functions of it. i believe i have become a family member of the Humminbird and will update you on my experience once i do use it.

Good product
I bought this as a replacement for my Humminbird 386ci which died after four years of kayak fishing. I used this last night for the first time and I found it easier to read with the larger screen. The mapping software was superior to the older model and the readings seemed to be far more accurate.
