Boston's Angell Memorial Animal Hospital, part of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (and associated with Tufts Veterinary School), was established in 1915, and, since its inception has been a national leader and innovator in animal care. Angell Memorial's clinical specialities include surgery, radiology, neurology, dentistry, internal medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology, oncology, neurology and nutrition. The hospital was the first in the nation to recognize the benefits of animal preventive care, and in doing so, instituted a Wellness programme for dogs. This book explains the plan to pet owners who do not have access to Angell and who want to learn to maintain the health of their pets in an easy and understandable way.
