They have strong adhesive so they stay in place when installed….just make sure the mounting services are very clean and remove as much of the old seal adhesive as you can. My seals were 30 years old and with a little effort and a good plastic scraper, the old seals came off with very minimal residue. These seals are 1/2 the price when compared to H1 parts stores.
