Anastasia' is an animated musical movie based on the legend of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nickolaevna of Russia. The legend states the Grand Duchess escaped from the sorcerer Grigori Rasputin when he stormed into a ball thrown by her grandmother Empress Marie Feodorovna. Anastasia and her grandmother manage to escape only to become separated. The story follows Anastasia on her travels back to Paris to find her grandmother. The voices of the characters are done by well-known actors and actresses including Kirstin Dunst, Meg Ryan, Liz Callaway, Kelsey Grammer, John Cusak, Lacey Chabert, and Bernadette Peters. Rated G it is a great movie for the family.

    Anastasia video

    This video has always been one of my favorites. My children enjoy it just as much as I do. It is a great family movie. It is a movie that tells a story that we have all heard about. My children have really gotten interested in the true story of Anastasia so we have been spending alot of time reshearching the family history of Anastasia. It keeps us together as a family and is better than watching some shows that are on Television these days.

    Nostalgic

    I great movie with all the classic elements. I remember it well from watching in my childhood. It has not lost it's luster as I watch it now later years. Not just a great movie for kids, but the whole family. I have very fond memories of this movie that are rekindled every time I watch it. I'm sure many could attributed this movie to awakening similar happinesses.

    very good movie no matter your age! buy it!

    best movie I've ever seen; I'd say go for it, young or old, you'll enjoy it :) got a good plot with interesting historical background, great characters, romance, family, love, and an awesome villain, not to mention a killer soundtrack and lots of beautiful colors and great themes and morals.

    Anastasia is Wonderful!

    This movie came out when I was in my early teens, now in my twenties I still adore this movie. Excellent cast, memorable songs, great animation. May be scary for very young audiences, but I highly recommend adding this movie to your collection!
