    The best design book for the money

    Its small size would seem to imply that this book contains little information. On the contrary, Layout Index is packed with useful examples of design layouts for numerous situations, as well as helpful tips for the amateur and pro alike. Brochures, posters, flyers, web sites, and more. Examples are given for a number of different clients, from average joes to business professionals. There are three books in the series (this one, Idea Index, and Color Index), and they are all excellent and worth every penny!

    Layout Index

    Fast and dirty. This book gives great ideas that are easily adaptable to a variety of situations. It's easy to skip through the book to pick up ideas and then adapt them to whatever layout/project you are working on. Gives examples of different types of layouts.

    As a graphic design student this book is really helpful for my study. The price is really cheap from Half.com and same book from BN.com. why should I need to pay more? I love this book.Easy to carry along with you everywhere.

    good book for small many

    It is very nice book for beginers and students. Good for getting some idea about the main principles in layout design. I hope i will draw an inspiration from the layout index the moment my head seems empty.
