One of the best live, solo albums ever recorded.
Jeff Buckley's "Live at Sin-é is a compelling portrait of an artist at the beginning of a brilliant but brief career. Buckley spent a couple of years prior to the release of his masterpiece "Grace", on the coffee-house and club circuit in NYC finding his musical feet and voice, and "Live at Sin-é is a wonderful chronicle of that period in his career. It also showcases Buckley's formidable sense of humor and his astonishing vocal talent as well as his interpretive ability as both a singer and a guitarist. There is a wonderful range of genres included in these performances in terms of the material he chose to cover, and there are some early solo versions of his own songs as well which would become classics with the release of "Grace". The Next Best Thing to Being There
What a great CD to have now that we are no longer able to see Jeff perform. Jeff Buckley is an amazing artist with the most beautiful voice, as if from heaven. The 9 minute plus "Lover You Should've Come Over" blew me away. LOVE this guy...

JEFF BUCKLEY FAN HERE, SO FAIRLY EASY TO PLEASE WITH HIS WORK, HOWEVER THIS IS A GOOD ITEM TO HAVE IN ANY MUSIC COLLECTION, WOULD RECOMMEND IT, I LOVE IT BECAUSE IT IS SO NATURAL, YOU FEEL THAT YOU MIGHT BE THERE ON THE NIGHT, AND AS WE CAN'T EVER DO THAT, THIS IS THE NEXT BEST THING, APART FROM HAVING HIM ON DVD OF COURSE, (the bonus dvd that is included in this is very nice to have also)

A must have live album.
One of the best live albums of the 1990's. Jeff Buckley at his best. He covers Dylan, and has a handful of his own songs. The best covers are the first song "be your husband" which is the opener. You'll be hooked from that first track.
