Still one of Jim Carrey's best.
I'm not a huge Jim Carrey fan, but I did like him in this movie. It was an over the top, part physical comedy, part musical, with a touch of cartoon, movie. It was very high energy as most Carrey movies are and this one does not disappoint in that area. I found the story line with its typical everyday man, danger, and romance surprising not boring as one would expect. If there is a downside to this movie, it is some of the language that seems to be there for its own sake, and one or two of the sight gags that seem to go just a bit too far. In spite of these things I would still recommend this movie with an excellent rating, but a reminder that it has a PG-13 guidance rating.I'm not a huge Jim Carrey fan, but I did like him in this movie. Iconic 90's Comedy
I've been a big fan of Jim Carrey for as long as I can remember. The Mask is one of my favorite Jim Carrey films. So, finding it on here and for a good price was quite the stroke of good luck for me. The cover wasn't tattered and the film itself snowy when I played it. It didn't skip as it played. I couldn't find anything left to be desired. Compared to others, it's pretty equal to. This film is, basically, well worth your time. Just ignore the pathetic attempt at a sequel and believe that it was never made, though.I've been a big fan of Jim Carrey for as long as I can remember.
