  • A good and quick reference guide...great for kids too!

This is a very informative, quick and easy to use reference guide that has good color pictures and wonderful references to many North American reptile and amphibians. Not every one is listed in here but I found many to most are. It has been my field guide since I was an older child using my mom's. Without it, I would be very lost as to what kinds of snakes, frogs, and lizards are in my area. I also love it's compact size instead of being a big, bulky, hard to carry around study guide. I haven't found it's equal or better yet. I use mine every year and I think every household should own a copy. A great family resource tool.

  • Roger Tory Peterson Field Guide.

I have been interested in and fascinated by reptiles and frogs for many years. I would study them every time I would go visit relatives down south with out really knowing what they were. When I found this book on eBay I figured now was a good time to find out. After my book arrived I couldn't put it down. The pictures are exellent quality, descriptions are fantastic. In general I am very satisfied. The only thing I dislike about the book is the pictures are not with the descriptions but nobody's perfect. A++ Roger Tory Peterson did a wonderful job.

  • Easy to use, small and light weight for carrying while hiking.

This book has great pictures of each animal and displays the facts for easy review. The book is easy to use and well worth the money. It is small enough to carry around when hiking and isn't heavy. Would recommend this book for everyone interested in learning about the environment around them. Great resource book to own.

  • Great book!

This book was delivered in excellent condition, and has excellent photographic images! I’m VERY excited to put it to use!
