Build-a-Lot is a casual business sim that lets wannabe real estate moguls make a mint in the housing market. Players can construct, upgrade, and then flip houses, or maintain the property and collect rental income. There are eight different cities to visit and develop, each with a colorful politician who will want special favors like a new bowling alley or swimming pool for the mayoral mansion. Gamers can play in career or casual modes and earn extra cash by constructing specialty buildings like museums, ice rinks, mansions, and castles.

    BUILD-A-LOT WINS MY VOTE HANDS DOWN!

    This is a very fun, brain stimulating, and addictive game that begins pretty easy. Of course. as one progresses in the levels; it gets much more difficult to succeed and move on to the next challenge. This is a game of buying, building, and selling properties. Each level lists goals one has to accomplish before moving on. Just when you think you're doing good,for instance, a house will need repair or perhaps the tax man commeth to strip you of your much needed cash. The graphics are ok and the music is ok as well. Nothing earth shattering to intrude on your strategy or concentration. A game well worth the inventment...

    Very fun inexpensive game

    I have played this as a demo but just bought it recently. It gets challenging as you progress. Takes you through many different building scenerios from constructing a small house up to a castle in assorted towns. You are given an array of tasks and asked to build houses and buildings but you are on a time limit. You can also play a casual mode with no limits to worry about.

    Best Game Ever! $60Million in 12 Minutes!

    Where else can you make $60+ million in less than 12 minutes, and not have the ATF, or FBI surrounding your house within 24 hours? It takes you away, and you cannot think about anything else. Houses, mansions, castles, banks, mills, all going up around you with workers running about. I love it!

    Simple Fun and CHEAP

    A simple click and point strategy game. Id say its good for all ages because its so easy to play. An in-game hint: Make faster profits by buying houses that are for sell, upgrading them, and reselling them to buy the blueprint for better properties to build. :) -Josh
