    Himsa bring the Thunder

    After seeing the video for "Big Timber" on HBB I decided I needed to hear more Himsa. I was not disappointed with 'Summon In Thunder'. The drumming is outstanding, the vocals above par, the songwriting is great, and the guitarists understand how contrast can make their songs seem even heavier. Standout tracks: Big Timber, Given in to the Taking, Hooks as Hands, Reinventing the Noose, and Skinwalkers. (There's not a bad track on the disc, really, but these are my favorites.) Good, fun, heavy stuff from a band that has separated themselves (slightly) from the pack of good bands out there now.
