About this product

Product Information

Players lead their chosen hero to victory against all comers, in this Dynasty Warriors-styled game of medieval combat. Characters are based on the heroes and villains of ancient mythologies, and the fast-paced battles are full of explosive special moves and colorful magical effects. The game is set on a fantastical continent, broken into 15 smaller fiefdoms, and the ultimate goal is to unite the land under the rule of the player's chosen hero. As they progress through the adventure, individual heroes become more powerful and gain new special moves. With each victory over the continent, new playable characters can be unlocked. Devil Kings was produced by Hiroyuki Kobayashi known for his work on previous Capcom hits such as Devil May Cry, Resident Evil 4, and Killer 7.

    Devil Kings

    Pros: Suitable graphics, killing lots of people at once is fun, fun level up and experience point system, lots of upgrades, dialogue can be so cheesy its funny, boss battles are so easy its fun Cons: Unoriginal, Music is easily forgettable, cheesy voice acting, some upgrades are pointless, AI is stupid even on the hardest difficulty, can become repetitive after awhile, Conquest mode could of been a bit better, enemies come out of thin air sometimes Devil Kings is a game that is just their to play to past the time away, blow off some steam, or if your just in the mood for killing a ton of armies in a matter of ten to twenty minutes. I do enjoy the game quit a bit but it does have flaws that could definitely turn a few people a way. Graphically the game is fine, the environments are ...

    Grab this game before it goes away, read on...

    I rate games based on how innovative they were in their time and how well they stand up in today's gaming market. I rated Devil Kings as 5 star for excellent for a couple of reasons. Firstly the story line. I think that the story stands out among games in this genre. The story is interspersed with anime cut scenes that totally take you by surprise and move the story along nicely. It is easy to put yourself in the role of whichever character you choose and really feel a part of the story. Isn't that what the best games do, bring you into the story completely? The other reason is the graphics and combat. Devil Kings pushes the limit in these areas, and leaves the player satisfied with every victory, and saddened at each defeat. The voice acting can be terrible at times, but I wonder ...
