I have had the cookbook since it was first published. My copy was disintegrating so I wanted to replace it. This was perfect. It has some of the best recipes.

My family is originally from New Orleans so I grew up with these recipies. If you like good Creole cooking you'll love this gem. It was a standard for years. You'll still find some good cooks with a coveted copy hidden behind the other cook books. If you're not the best cook follow the recipies exactly.
