I've been running heavy duty DFT simulations on it for the past 3 days and has yet to disappoint. I managed to solve this problem by turning the screen light down quite a bit.

Quality feels premium for a 5+ year old model, but I'm coming from a 10+ year old macbook, so that's not saying much. Sturdy, capable, relatively powerful. Satisfied.
