Buyers should check on Import duty issues and perhaps only buy one item at a time to gibe the best chance of entanglements with this, combining postage may not be the way to go. Lobbying parliament for a larger allowance before import duty is charged might be an idea. Americans do;t have to put up with this. The danger of gustoms hold ups also eeds to be considered carefully.
