    Description was vague at best. Appeared to be the one I needed. Payed $12.00 shipping. Plus $16.00 for the motor. So $28.85 plus tax. Did not fit too small. Sent back for $6.00. He charged me the return shipping. Sent back $10.00 plus tax. If you buy from this seller make sure it is the right one. You will get ripped off on the shipping. I'm giving 1 star for description and 1 star for shipping costs.

    There may be FLAME!

    This gaz furnace Igniter 271N by Robertshaw is exactly like the one by Norton that i have in my York furnace. I like it because it has the right plug which avoids slicing the wire ( and using electrical connectors) to connect to the power line. The price was good and shipped right away, thus saving me a GOOD amount of money that I would otherwise have paid to someone, for their five or ten minutes work, especially on a weekend. I'm keeping it as a spare because in the meantime I was able to get another from a local store ( needed it right away) BUT for a little more money.

    Furnace Ignitor

    I purchased this ignitor as a replacement. It was an easy swap - take the old one out and plug the new one in - no modifications required. It has been working fine. The price was a value and if it saves me a service call it is a great value.
