    iPod Touch 64 GB 4 Gen

    Not hard to use, you can still download manuals from Apple on how to use this item in case you need help. Most frustrating was that I could not download podcasts off iTunes, but once going onto the internet, I found how to download the podcast app that was appropriate for the IOS that is loaded on the iPod. So there are some frustrating moments, but with a little research, the iPod does everything I need for it to do. As for the battery life, not sure what long is, it's enough for me, and I have learned that if I turn off the open apps, the battery life lasts a lot longer than if I don't turn off the apps. Sound quality is better with headphones. I use this mostly to listen to You Tubes, podcasts, audiobooks and music, and occasionally to read emails.

    Works Great! But apple does not any longer support updates past 6.1.6 which is use limiting

    Plays music thru my Bose Perfectly! Apple cut off updates at 6.1.6 which basically means the apple store has just about absolutely nothing that can be downloaded to work on this unit. Yahoo weather furnished by apple just locks up, it took me quite a while to go thru all the weather apps on the apple store to find just on Weather app that the developer allows to work somewhat on 6.1.6 It appears apple supplied weather app is no longer supported by Yahoo. Planned obsolescence by Apple!!!!!!! And this IOS Will not allow Audible. com books in AAX format to load Audible com books for listening, they must be downloaded to a computer and then each AAX file converted to AAC or MP3! A lot of work to be able to listen to audio books. Such a simple little thing and apple is making no money on this ...

    Great product that is sadly going away!

    I really like the iPod touch 4th gen. Why? I still have devices that use the 30 pin connector. I use it strictly for music. The battery life could be better, but I keep my fully charged for the most part. I am not an apple fan, but this product along with how iTunes interfaces with it is really good. It is sad that apple is going to discontinue the iPod all together. I don't want every frickin' thing to be on my phone.

    like the wi=fi feature. Any ipod has to have at least 64 gb to have the best selection. Like the product a lot. Like to have music on a separate product than phone to save battery. if you can get a 6th gen ipod get that but the 4th and 5th gen will work

    I bought this model iPod Touch on eBay because I really liked the design aesthetic of that era's Apple devices and this was the most advanced model before the design change. I couldn't afford a brand new one at that time, but now I could buy a used one in great condition, thanks to eBay. The UI of the iPod Touch is pretty much the same as the iPhone, which is intuitive to figure out. The 64gb capacity is enough to hold all my music. I'll mainly use this as a home jukebox paired with my stereo via Bluetooth, but might occasionally take it on the go with me.
