Easy to upgrade. One small quirk, easily adjustment.
I just upgraded from the single lead (that I have had for about 2.5 years now) to this 6-lead option and have been very pleased. I had no issue adding this device to the Kardia app on my iPhone SE 3rd gen. It was a totally seamless process. I can take both single-lead and 6-lead through this device, and the readouts are clear. Note that the 6-lead requires you to connect not only your fingers, but also a sensor on the back. There is a little awkwardness finding the right spot if you use your ankle instead of your knee to take a reading, but once you get used to it, it is easier. It's not 100% accurate
I have arrhythmias PVCs and PACs and this recognizes my PVCs as afib. I sent its findings to my doctors office and they reviewed the EKGs from the kardiamobile and found that there wasn't any afib. I've had two afib ablations to correct my afib and fortunately the second time it worked. I've also had an ablation to correct the PVCs which didn't work. Sometimes the results of the six lead EKG do read that it's not afib but another arrhythmia. The unit communicates with your cell phone after you download the free app. Although they encourage you to purchase a subscription plan for periodic interpretations of your readings, it may not be necessary as the readings are (presumably) saved on your phone. Great device.
Bought a different manufacturers' monitor by mistake. Couldn't even get an account set up. Kardia mobile was very simple to set up. It has very simple usage instructions on both the phone app as well as written instructions booklet. Readings are very professional and the monitor is well made.
