Even if you’ve never seen the film, you can enjoy sliding into the story of Peter Parker in this game, who, after being bitten by a radioactive spider, became the amazing Spider-Man. Fans of the movie will notice that this ultimate GameCube version of Spider-Man 2 lets you enjoy the real voices of the movie’s characters, like Tobey Maguire cracking jokes as Spider-Man, plus Kirsten Dunst as MJ and Alfred Molina as Doc Ock. You get to swing, leap, and run through a living metropolis, complete with traffic and pedestrians who also chat and crack jokes while finding plenty of upgrades and crime to fight. This action-adventure Spider-Man game is a one-player version, and it has a rating of “T” for teen due to depictions of some violence. You can challenge friends and family members to a competition by taking turns, or set up a second console to play your own version at the same time. Slip these games into your Nintendo GameCube consoles and follow the story missions, or explore the city to stop minor villains like Mysterio. You get to enjoy flexing Spider-Man’s range of super powers, including mega jumps and super fast web-crawling to increase your hero rating and unlock advanced abilities, moves, and codes for cheats. Some of your old favorite characters, such as the sinister Mysterio and the mad, evil scientist Lizard, make an appearance in this version of the Spider-Man 2 game for GameCube alongside the main villain from the videos and games. Some graphics from the first episode of this game also appear from time to time, tying the storyline and theme of the games together for players who like to swing through the city with a sense of familiarity from game to game. As you play, you earn hero points that you can use to increase your character’s jumping, speeding, and web-slinging abilities. You can also slow down the speed of the action when your Spidey senses start tingling, letting you take advantage of heightened reflexes and senses.       Wonderful Spider-Man game with solid controls and fluid progression

      Very fun game. Came with a good amount of scratches, but it runs perfectly. Overall great experience, would recommend if you're a fan of retro-games, and the wall-crawler. And definitely if you're looking for a good Spider-Man game. Pizza Time!

      So I understand why they thought it work...

      So I understand why they thought it worked just fine without any trouble because you get to the main loading screen, but after that, it says we couldn’t read the disk. But I have a resurfacer and cleaner device for CDs and DVDs and all that good stuff so I put it through that and now it works half the time. But when it does work, it doesn’t give me any problems and it’s the same old game that I loved back when I was in high school. the game itself holds up to the modern day Spider-Man 2 game.

      One of the best super hero games of it's generation

      I love spider-man and this is honestly one of the best spider-man games out there. The swinging feels great and gameplay is fun. It's a surprisingly spectacular game considering it is a movie tie in.
