I find this the easiest, most effective, and least expensive method to humidify my guitar while in the case. I've tried the packets, but they don't last as long as advertised and they are way too expensive. The sponges, forget it! With the Oasis all I do is add distilled water with the included syringe and I'm good to go. It's easy to monitor when I need to add water again. In this desert climate it's usually less than 5 days.

Outstanding trusted products for humidifying your musical instruments.
As a luthier and long time vintage as well as modern musical instruments collector/player who lives in an area with all 4 seasons, humidifying instruments is critical. For years now I have only trusted and used Oasis products. I have never had one leak, they are excellent when used either directly in the instrument sound hole, or just used in the instrument case itself. Their products are the best I have found for keeping musical instruments properly humidified, and I have tried about everything out there. I also like their hygrometer for checking the humidity levels. Great products at decent prices. Easy and does the job
I bought this based on a recommendation from my brother and it is as advertised. I live in the Mid-Atlantic and the temperatures in the winter require the heating system to be turned on and dry hot air will destroy a guitar. The Oasis humidifier is easy to use and does exactly what it's intended to do.

This humidifier had an immediate and positive effect on my guitar. I live in the southwest and my Martin d15 is thin skinned. The desert climate can be harsh. After a week or so the guitar started to stabalze at 40 %. Easy to use and maintain. It works very well.

Bad design.
The top sticks up to high, when you close the case it pushes down on the strings and leaves a dent in the inside top of the case, I use wires wrap around the top and lower it inside the guitar. It a hassle but it works. Robert
