Nicely made basic RD with really big 13T and 15T pulleys

Do a web search for RD-310 specifications before bidding. My application is 2x8 speed road bike use, and the 13T & 15T big pulleys on this derailleur are good for my application. But the medium cage 65mm may not be suitable for your really wide range 3x8 or 3x7 MTB bikes that have large tooth count differences. Product came well greased and ready for install. I like it.

  • Great quality derailleur

Was a perfect fit for my Aventon Pace 500 bike. Shifts smoothly between gears. Was easy installation as well, my husband didn't have issues with the chain. Great derailleur!

  • Installs easily, and works great. Smooth and quiet operation.

My bike came with the dreaded Tourney drivetrain setup, and made a ton of noise when I shifted. No amount of adjustment would make it go away. Since the Altus was compatible, I went with it, as it had to be an improvement. It was! The Altus installed easily on a rear deraileur hangar I had to purchase separately. it took very little adjustment to get it working properly. I set the limit screws, and tightened up the cable with the onboard adjustment screw. Voila! A smooth and quiet deraileur. About two weeks later, the wind blew my bike over on the kickstand and the deraileur took a hit. The hangar was bent, so I removed the rear wheel, and straightened it out. Now it is back to proper shifting once again. For the money, you cant go wrong here. Thanks Shimano! Your stuff just works! Great ...
