Came pre-assembled and bled, though the rear brake hose was a couple inches short for my large frame bike. Not a big deal (needed to dismantle and re-bleed due to having an internally routed frame), just be aware when buying hydraulic brakes that you might also need a bleed kit and/or a longer hose depending on your frame. Front brake was the right size and worked straight out of the package with no issues
