    Outlandishly used cares

    Irreverent and tongue-in-cheek look at the used car trade. Kurt Russel early in his career is as entertaining as ever, selling painted-over taxis as grandma's Sunday drivers. A bit bawdy with awful language, so park the kids in the other room, have a good laugh and enjoy this silliness.

    USED CARS good comedy

    I first saw this on cable when I was 12...topless chicks were definitely in fashion in my pubescent mind. Aside from that, the comedy is in-your-face low brow with a good-natured sense of cynicism. The seventies cars are wonderfully hideous to look at in retrospect. New Deal Used Car's cheap tactics stand well against the rival car dealer, owned by Jack Warden, who turns in a fantastic performance as a greedy and corrupt car dealer and in a dual role, his own (recently) deceased brother. There are a few plotholes and the film loses steam a bit, but overall a solid comedy. The Blues Brothers and Caddyshack pushed this film down to the third best comedy of 1980. And remember, $50 never killed anybody!

    great comedy classic that the whole family can enjoy and you do not have to worry

    if you're looking for a good clean also funny movie especially a comedy use cars is definitely the movie I saw this movie years ago and it just stuck in my mind over all of these years so recently had to purchase this movie once again because basically it's awesome especially in the beginning I highly recommend because it is a good funny comedy that was made when movies were decent fun and clean and you do not have to worry about young ? LOL they will also enjoy this movie

    Ranks up there with "Slapshot" and "Animal House" as one great late 70's-early 80's comedies

    What a hilarious movie!! Kurt Russell is excellent, but so is Gerrit Graham and jack Warden. Even Grandpa Munster makes an appearance as a tough Judge...and he is great! Not a kid flick for sure, but adults should love it

    Used Cars found all the junkers from my high school years, and a couple of the charcters who sold them!

    Reminded me of a used car rivalry near a town where I grew up. I love a good car chase so the finale of this one was brilliant with perfect casting of the drivers and their motivating beliefs.
