Using an old fashioned metal cone type juicer was making my hands ache and was not that efficient. By contrast, this juicer has a smooth and powerful action and I was able to juice 11 lemons quite easily. It seems pretty robust, with solid metal ratchet mechanism and good easy to grip handles. Highly recommended!
