With a caveat. The drive center does indeed replace the original, which must be removed from the tail spindle to reveal 1/2 by 20 TPI threads. The tool arrives with business cards from the vendor; I would contact them directly if you have problems, not through ebay. There was a communication problem at first, but vendor was responsive after communication was established.
