Intel Xeon X5680 3.33GHz New Life for Old PC
The Intel Xeon X5680 3.33GHz Socket 1366 was a wakeup call for my old dell 9100 (435t). This processor gave new life to my older Dell Tower Desktop computer. I was a little nervous about changing out the processor but it worked out well. Just keep it all clean and be calm. LOL I will be keeping this PC for a good bit longer now. I use it for Samsung VR products and it works very well. Also installed 3.0 usb ports and an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 6 GB Graphics Card, which makes it even nicer. The Computer originally had an Intel I7 920 Processor in it. Loving it..

A nice affordable upgrade for old iron
A nice affordable upgrade for old iron. I got about a 20% speed boost by switching to these. Fairly easy install. Just remember to evenly spread a thin layer of thermal paste.

Xeon X4580, Greatest $70 CPU ever.
I purchased the Xeon X5680 and overclocked it to 3.6Ghz in my Sabertooth X58 with a Kraken X61 AIO. Shipping was a day early, and very well packaged IMO. I'm playing GTAV at high settings and ARK on Epic settings while running cool and fast.

Worth the upgrade
I was considering getting rid of my x58 motherboard until I learned I could make some nice upgrades. I installed the x5680 and I'm getting better performance than my 2016 MacBook Pro (without even overclocking). If you have a old x58 motherboard consider upgrading your CPU. These old Xeon processors still hold up well here in 2019.
