this Spindle fit perfectly on my discontinued Dixon ZTR (now Husqvarna). 52 inch mower. Great price and it includes the cap nut and spacer/washer which you might need... and Yes you must tap the bolt holes, .... because that's how the attachment to the deck works! the flange is meant to be tapped by the self-tapping bolts (4). Not difficult as the bolt does the work..start it straight and if you have one, a cordless impact socket wrench makes this a nascar pit stop job.... you might want to purchase a set of 4 bolts in case your originals are stripped... the 5 bux might save you some down time and at the very least you'll have some spares. Now, if you're like me, head out and mow where no mower has gone before, with the confidence that when you crater another spindle, you can find a ... this Spindle fit perfectly on my discontinued Dixon ZTR (now Husqvarna). 52 inch mower.
