    Works Well, Good Upgrade

DDR3 is fairly cheap now if you're going with a slightly older platform for budgetary reasons or if you just have an older DDR3-based system, so it is well worth the upgrade to keep it relevant. An additional 8GB of RAM helps out if you're doing a lot of memory-intensive work like I do, and if you're upgrading, why not go with 1866MHz or the fastest DDR3 that your board supports? This Kingston RAM worked just fine for my purposes.
