    Good for the price

    The quality could be better. The forward mount was welded on at a slightly off angle on one of the units. There is a noticeable “wobble “ compared to the OEM unit, but it does not affect the operation at this time. We’ll see if they last. The OEM units were shot after ten years. I’ve read that some aftermarket units last less than one third of that. We’ll see. But then again, these also cost much less than OEM.

    Failed after 3 months of use

    Installation was simple and straight forward. Only lasted about 3-4 months of weekend use before totally failing (trunk is VERY heavy, and feels worse than the 12 year old broken Lexus shocks). I would NOT recommend these to anyone looking for a stock replacement.

    Works…kinda

    They are barely strong enough to pop the trunk lid and obviously not strong enough to completely open it like they are supposed to. I still have to lift up on the trunk for it to open. Not what I wanted but it’s what I got. In the attached pic I had to lift up on the trunk to even get it that high up. Garbage struts, save your money.
