Probably won’t work with most .30 cal slugs. Not deep enough & the tolerance too loose to hold them. Should work just fine for pellets (I don’t have any to test).
It’s a very cool design. Looking forward to using it with pellets in the future. You DO need a o-ring to hold it in, so if you don’t have spares laying around, select the option with the o-ring. It will fall out without one! While you’re at it.. check the better shipping option too. Mine took 3.5 weeks with no tracking.
