About this product

Product Information

UK developer Team17's signature series squirms onto PSP with the same 2D style and offbeat humor that has made the Worms strategy games an international success. The format remains identical to previous versions, as two teams of four worms alternate turns across an assortment of surreal landscapes. Each turn focuses on a single worm soldier, with the goal being to eliminate as much of the opposing team as possible before time expires. Twenty whimsical weapons and inventive items are available, including bazookas, exploding sheep, homing missiles, banana bombs, shotguns, jet packs, and more. Players will battle it out on randomly generated maps with six different themes, from jungle and space to the underworld and London. Multiplayer support is also available via hot seat, where players pass the PSP to friends on their turns, or via Ad-hoc mode.

    Fun 2D Game

    I had this game for playstation and have always enjoyed it. The PSP version has less weapons but some more features, for example, mulitple voices to choose for your worms to speak. Always a great 2 player game but also has the capablity of 4 players or even playing people with other psp's using bluetooth. Its a tough game to get use to at first but follow the tutorial in the beginning and master the skills needed to defeat the enemy!

    Very fun game for psp

    I bought this game because I had just purchased my psp, on ebay a couple weeks before and needed a few games for it. I have this game for my pc, game cube, x box and ps2 and it is a little different for each gaming system. This is one of my favortite games, needless to say, but I think I enjoy playing the most from my pc because there is more of a variety of weapons to choose from. It is fun regardless of which gaming system I play it on, and of the 5 different systems I could play it on, I'd say that the psp is probably my second favorite, however my boyfriend will only play it on the psp, so it must be his favorite. Overall, I'd definately give this an excellent rating and would highly recomend it to any prospective buyers.

    Worms a fantastic PC game brought to the PSP

    This game is everything that the classic worms games based on the PC is, the multiplayer is a blast and fighting the computer is as challenging as ever, I do wish they could have had a few more weapons that are used in the PC version mainly the super sheep in the psp version but hey even still this is a great game with a lot of replay value.

    great for some free time

    this item is great if you have a little or a lot of time on your hands. seting up a quick game and beating up some worms is great. i got the game in the hopes it would be fun and it is. i recamend it to anyone that like cartoon games or stratigy games.

    worms up

    really loved this game. it keeps you busy playing with other wormers on the net. great game.had to buy the first game just to see what the first one looked at, the second is way better. more graphics and better quality. hope they come out with the 3rd issue soon.
